BOA Screening Process
  1. A job description is created by the hiring manager (if they have someone in mind for the job (internal or external) they can tweak the requirements to exclude a large number of job applicants
  2. All positions are posted internally for at least 3 – 5 days
  3. If no internal or not qualified internal candidates then post externally
  4. Review Resume against criteria stated in Job description
  5. Select about ten candidates to send to hiring manager
  6. If there are no internal candidates then select 3 – 5 for phone interviews
  7. The process then is different by hiring manager but usually the final 2 – 3 make it for face to face interview.
  8. Hiring manager selects the top two for peer reviews
  9. Hiring managers will submit top two candidates to their manager for interview
  10. HR makes offer

Key Interview tips
If you get by the HR gatekeepers and you know anyone that works at wells they can look up the position from the internal website and find the hiring manager.  Hopefully they can send him a note about you and help you can get you past HR.
The Wells Fargo interview process is long and a candidate must be patient as there process can take up to three months.
